A selection of OSbert Parker's sketchbooks
The three-time BAFTA-nominated director is known for his signature style of mixing photo cut-out animation with objects and live-action film to create unique imaginary landscapes. Parker’s short films “Film Noir” and “Yours Truly” have screened at international festivals. In addition to his films and commissioned work, Osbert Parker also gives lectures, teaches and runs workshops.
Osbert Parker is making a stop in Baden to provide insights into his artistic practice. An important starting point for his work is his sketchbook, which serves as a (paper)playground for him to develop his own film language. He is exhibiting a selection of his sketchbooks at Kunstraum Baden.
